The alteration/replacement project at the Offenburg freight station commenced in the end of May, carried out by Zürcher Bau GmbH.
Client:
Deutsche Bahn AG
Branch:
Karlsruhe
Period:
27 May - 29 July 2016
After
the admission had been granted, the new machine equipment of BGM GmbH was used for
the first time directly at the tracks.
Two
EM-T 100 vehicles were applied throughout the complete construction project.
One of them, used as end car, was equipped with the loading funnel and the
shortened bypass belt (BB). The other E-MT 100 served as intermediate car with
continuous bypass belt (BB).
The
construction project included the replacement of 1248m track ballasting
(conventionally), the provision of 1621m shunting way, as well as the
improvement of 172m of the planum.
The
operability and reliability as well as the young operator team had to stand the
test under the hard working conditions and the tight deadlines set.
After
the successful completion of these construction projects, further applications
can be carried out by the operators immediately now.
The owner intends to offer the renting of the vehicles.
